Rallies:

  • Bookings close a week prior to the event so we know numbers and can book instructors.

  • Please arrive in plenty of time to be mounted and ready to ride for the start time.

  • Please check your rally email for times and location.

  • Please adhere to your allotted time, groups are organised by age & stage, for everyones enjoyment and safety, so please do not ask to change unless urgent.

  • Pick up your pony's poo, hay and your own litter!

  • It is polite to thank your venue host and instructor.

  • Parents are not to interfere while the children are being taught. Unless the child is on the lead rein, parents should remain outside the arena. If you would like to discuss the lesson please speak to the instructor afterwards.

  • Children must have a parent or guardian present at all times during the rally.

  • Members and ponies should be clean & correctly turned out in a P.C. approved hat with appropriate dress and tack. Please read the full dress code.

  • In the event of rude or bad behaviour from members, the parents and D.C. will be informed. It is expected that you will encourage your children not to repeat it, but if it becomes a regular occurrence, they may be excluded from future events.

  • Members must remember that when out competing they represent the club as ambassadors and such are expected to set a good example, any instances of rude or abusive behaviour will be recorded and may affect future team selection.

  • Abuse of ponies/horses will not be tolerated.

  • Members must respect the rights, dignity and worth of all other members regardless of age, gender, ability, race, cultural background or religious beliefs or sexual identity.
